3. How CG Enforces these Community Guidelines

1. Be Respectful

Everyone deserves to be treated with respect. Your actions while participating in the CG Community impact the experiences of others. Exercise good judgement and make sure your actions reflect the core values of CG: Integrity, Loyalty, Positivity, Teamwork and Passion. This way, everyone can have a safe, comfortable, and fun time while participating in CG.

For example, Trainers should be on time to all Camps and CG events. Use common courtesy, don’t swear or act rude towards anyone. Keep locations neat by picking up after yourself. The CG Community is diverse, and you may meet people who might think or look differently than you. Our core values apply to everyone in our community, and everyone deserves to feel supported and welcomed. Considering this, we’ve created the following standards on physical contact, sexual harassment, assault and misconduct, threatening and rude behavior, and discrimination.

If you are, or CG suspects you are, violating any of the guidelines in any of the following sections, CG reserves the right to terminate your contract, Camper or Trainer, without prior notice.

Physical Contact
CG is all about supporting those around you and lifting others up with encouragement and Positivity. In pursuit of this mission, it is important to know what each person’s boundaries are regarding physical contact. You should always ask permission if you are going to have any physical contact with someone else. For example, if a Trainer wants to correct a Camper’s form during an exercise, they should ask “Do I have permission to correct your form?” If the individual seems apprehensive, the Trainer should opt to communicate verbally or demonstrate rather than touch them. This goes for hugs as well, always ask permission. It’s important to give encouragement, but it’s more important to be aware of the situation and the personal space of others. If they do not want a hug, a simple high five or even a verbal affirmation will do.

Sexual Harassment, Assault & Misconduct
Everyone deserves to have their personal space and privacy respected by those around them. It is okay to chat and have fun at Camp, but flirting or commenting on someone’s appearance isn’t. Sexual harassment, assault or misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated and is strictly prohibited at CG Camp and CG Events. Sexual assault and misconduct is defined by any type of sexual contact or sexual behavior without the explicit consent of the other person. If you feel as though you have been sexually assaulted, contact your local authorities (911) right away. You can also gain assistance through The National Sexual Assault Online Hotline. Please also inform our Camper Support team.

Below is a list of behaviors which are considered inappropriate in the CG Community:

If, while at a CG Camp or CG Event, you ever feel like you are being harassed, communicate to the person that you are uncomfortable and that they need to stop. If they do not stop, or you are uncomfortable further communicating with that person, contact our Camper Support team.

Threatening or Rude Behavior
CG expects the CG Community will conduct itself in a way that reflects its core values. Aggressive, harassing, disrespectful, threatening, or rude behavior is not allowed. Participants should avoid language or gestures that may be perceived as disrespectful, inappropriate, rude, or threatening at all times. If you experience threatening or rude behavior while at a CG Camp or CG Event, please communicate to the person that they should stop. If they do not stop, or you are uncomfortable further communicating with that person, contact our Camper Support team.

Discrimination
The CG Community should always feel like a safe and welcoming space. CG does not tolerate discrimination of any kind. CG Trainers are prohibited from discriminating anyone due to their race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, sex, marital status, disability, religion, age, or any other characteristic protected by law. CG does not deny services to anyone based on these characteristics.

2. Help Keep One Another Safe

Our goal is to create a safe environment for our entire CG Community. Therefore, we all have certain responsibilities when it comes to upholding these standards as well as the law.

Drugs & Alcohol
Remember, we want everybody to have a fun and safe time at CG Camps or CG Events, therefore certain activities are discouraged. Drinking during Camp or showing up intoxicated to Camp is not allowed. The use of illegal drugs while participating in the CG Community is strictly prohibited.

If you are attending a CG Event where drinks will be served, keep in mind that you are still participating in the CG Community. Your behavior should remain appropriate, you should not act belligerent, rowdy, disruptive, harassing, abusive, or pose a safety risk to anyone if you choose to drink at a CG Event.

The legal intoxication limit is .08 BAC (blood alcohol content). Your driving skills are significantly affected if you consume more than one drink per hour. Two or more drinks per hour, depending on your weight, will make you legally intoxicated. Do not drink enough to become legally intoxicated while attending a CG Event. Use your best judgement and drink responsibly.

Illegal Activity
You are not allowed at any time to take part in fraudulent or illegal activities while participating in the CG Community. If you are or CG suspects you are taking part in such activities, CG reserves the right to terminate your Agreement, Customer or Trainer, without prior notice.

Feedback
If you see something, say something! We want to hear about anything that you may think is suspicious or violates these CG Community Guidelines. Your feedback is vitally important to us so we can update and improve the CG experience for everyone. Please report any violations to our support team as soon as possible. Honest feedback will ensure that everybody is held accountable for their behavior, and will help our CG Community be the safe and welcoming environment that we intend it to be. You can submit feedback through the Camper Rating System in the Camper App or through contacting our Camper Support team

Ratings
After every camp, Campers have the option to give their Trainer a rating on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, as well as provide feedback on how the Camp went. These ratings help to create transparency by giving each Trainer and location a rating.

CG expects every Trainer and location to maintain a very high rating. If you feel that a Trainer or location isn’t meeting the standards for a 5 star rating, please let us know why by providing as much detail as possible in the comments of your rating. In order to receive the best response from Campers, ratings and comments are not connected to specific Campers in a Trainer’s visibility of their feedback.

3. How CG Enforces these Community Guidelines

In the unfortunate situation where it is found that a Trainer violated, or may have violated these Community Guidelines, CG may terminate its contract with that Independent Contractor Trainer, or choose not to renew its contract at the renewal date.

Where it is determined that a Camper violated, or may have violated these Community Guidelines, CG may terminate its agreement with the Camper and they will no longer be allowed to participate in the CG Community.

Camp Gladiator is an amazing community, and we want to do everything we can to continue positively impacting the physical fitness and ultimately the lives of as many people as possible. You can help make this community better by following these Community Guidelines and bringing your best self when participating in the CG Community!

These Community Guidelines were last updated December 20, 2019.
